Welcome to TradesField. Follow the checklist below to configure your workspace before suppliers begin submitting information.

Set up your company profile

  1. Create or accept your workspace invite. Use your company email so team permissions match internal roles.
  2. Fill in company essentials. Add your trading name, ABN, and billing contact details. These appear on vendor-facing pages and email notifications.
  3. Tailor review stages. Decide who signs off on vendor submissions (for example, finance, compliance, or project management) and assign the appropriate approvers.

Bring your team onboard

  • Invite colleagues who need visibility, such as the CFO, accounts payable manager, and project administrators.
  • Choose each teammate’s role so approval steps and notifications reach the right people.
  • Set preferences for the types of alerts each role should receive (expiring insurance, missing documents, etc.).

Configure vendor requirements

  • Define the documents every vendor must supply: licences, insurances, bank verification, safety certificates, and any project-specific forms.
  • Organise requirements into categories so vendors know exactly what to upload.
  • Add supporting notes or templates to speed up submissions.

Invite your first vendor

  1. Add the vendor’s contact details and select the relevant requirement set.
  2. Attach any onboarding instructions or project references.
  3. Send the invitation. Vendors receive a secure link to complete everything in one portal session.
When your first submission arrives, head to the Platform section to learn how verification and monitoring work.
